A LITTLE CHILLY OR SPICE?
At last it was the final of the latest series of The Apprentice when Dean and his air conditioning business went head to head with Anisa with her Indian inspired pizzas run from dark kitchens.
To be honest I should have spotted who the winner was a few weeks ago as, for the first time ever, candidates have been very active on TikTok just before being fired — and I’ve seen all of them except one.
I began to realise that they were all popping up at different times and I should have seen it but it wasn’t until I was watching the last episode before it hit me. I won’t miss that again!
Anisa launched her bespoke, dark kitchen business called Zaal Pizzas, in yellow box and she asked for an advert which reflected ordering from home. Sadly for her, the team she asked to create the advert went for a football game and a fusion between two teams. Basic, ignoring her vision but did the job in a very amateur way.
Dean launched his DomestiCool brand which looked like every other trade in the trade. The advert was initially all about buying air conditioning units to heat the home — what! Luckily they did an about turn and made an equally awful ad which was about cooling a home. One big downside, no plans to kit out commercial spaces, and nothing was said about servicing and maintenance — all of which bring in more sustainable income.
