THE BRANDING FOR SCOTT MEDIA SPEAKERS…

For some months I’ve been chewing on an idea which I believe enhances the PR value-adds within my business. It’s now live and here it is — Scott Media Speakers. This service is one which is available for anyone in the world to browse and I hope my blogs about it on this platform will be shared to spread knowledge, expertise and stories of some of the amazing people I work with and know.

Why have I done this?

Public speaking is a powerful PR tool and it’s a tool that some people who embrace visibility and healthy marketing wish to use. Yet like anything it requires practice and opportunity to embrace it fully.

In the UK and in other parts of the world there are speaker agencies where established speakers and celebrities in all walks of life can be found, usually charging big bucks for sharing their knowledge. Those agencies then take a cut of any ‘gigs’ secured. That cut can range from 20 to 40 per cent — frankly it can all be a bit vague.

There is absolutely a place for that and I’m not setting out to compete with any of those platforms.

One of my clients, authors and speakers is menopause consultant for forward-thinking businesses and organisations Kate Usher.
