I really fancy a spicy, peachy, vodka, lime non-alcoholic drink? Anyone?
It’s that time again, my review of the third episode of The Apprentice, the BBC tv series which is currently broadcasting in the UK. This week’s challenge (aired on January 20) was to create a non-alcoholic drink with branding, and a fun filter for social media and then pitch that drink to buyers.
For the first time this series the groups were split into a mixed gender group however sadly, one of the girls, Sharma Amin, had to leave the series as her medical condition made the physical pace too difficult. However to date, it’s been the men who have been fired would this episode be any different?
Project managers for this task were Sophie Wilding who headed up Team Infinity and Nick Showering of Team Diverse. Nick was told last week by Lord Sugar that he had to be project manager as he’d sailed close to the wind the week before. Sophie is something of an unknown quantity so far.
Nick did come across as someone who doesn’t really appreciate how the other half live at several points in the show. It means he can come across as arrogant. Particularly when he was pitching his product, Vodify, to the Asda buyer, banging on about it being high end and worth more money. I’m sure his attitude led to less sales.
