Ten years ago in my home town of Swindon, a beautiful young woman left a nightclub in the early hours of the morning and was never seen again.

She was loved. She had a family, she had a partner and she was out with friends. She was young, loving and living life to the full and the last thing on her mind was that she could be in danger.

This particular young Swindon girl, though, could not have known that the taxi driver she encountered was a murderer and he’d murdered at least one woman before her. Sian was his last victim. It took five days for the police to find her body and her family and friends have lived with that pain for a decade. I did not know Sian, or her family, I do know some of her friends.
