Young property developer Arthur Dallimer who has been learning about property from his early teens.

I’m not a great believer in the adage that experience in business beats age. I’ve met many wonderful entrepreneurs who are a lot younger than me (I’m now in my late 50s) and are far more experienced and business savvy than me. I’ve also met many very experienced people in my professional life who are not very good at their jobs too.

I find that age and experience don’t always mean someone is good or even not good at what they do. There’s so much more value in their mindset, their ethics and their purpose which has nothing to do with age or how long they’ve been part of their profession.

With that in mind, I’d like to introduce three more of my wonderful speakers at Scott Media Speakers.

A WIZARD IN THE WORLD OF PROPERTY:

I’d like to introduce you to Arthur Dallimer, a name making waves in the Wiltshire property scene, particularly in Swindon and I can assure you, he will cringe on reading this headline. This young man is very humble, very driven and only steps into the limelight from time to time.

He’s only 29, but he’s already achieved what many only dream of in their lifetime. He’s the founder of William Arthur Property, a thriving development company focused on breathing new life into commercial and residential spaces across Swindon, Wiltshire, and Bristol.

But he started when he was barely out of his teens when he took on a part-time weekend job with someone who knew a lot about property and Arthur soaked up that knowledge. While studying accountancy and finance at the University of the West of England, he bought his first house at 18 and sold it for a profit. That’s what I call ambition. And brave!

Arthur hit the million-pound mark by the time he was 21. But he doesn’t think it’s all about the money. Nothing wrong with making money but Arthur has a more holistic view of life.

He’s invested in his community and he does love heritage properties with potential. Currently, he’s working on plans for Swindon’s former Museum and Art Gallery at Apsley House, aiming to give this historic gem a new lease of life in a modern world.

Arthur comes with a blend of business acumen and community spirit. He’s not just developing properties; he’s helping to reshape his hometown. His vision for Swindon is both ambitious and inspiring.

From making his first million to tackling the challenges of the high street, Arthur has stories to tell in abundance. He’s living proof that with hard work, smart thinking, and more than a dash of courage, you can achieve great things at any age.

Arthur Dallimer is definitely one to watch. Whether you’re interested in property development, entrepreneurship, or just love a good success story, he’s got wisdom to share. And who knows? His journey might just inspire you to take that leap you’ve been dreaming about.

Jodie has a different take on property and also believes in giving back…

Jodie’s mission to make property management a safer professional space:

I want to introduce you to Jodie Fraser, the driving force behind Fraser Allen Estate Management.

Jodie’s journey into property management wasn’t just about business — it was personal. Badly bullied as a child, home became her sanctuary. That feeling of safety and comfort when turning the key in the lock? It’s what she now works to provide for every client and resident.

With 18 years in the property management industry, Jodie wanted to offer something different. In 2016, she started Fraser Allen Estate Management, looking to manage residential blocks with genuine care and respect.

Jodie’s approach is refreshingly human. Whether it’s a roof leak or an overflowing bin, her team’s caring attitude ensures prompt problem-solving and happy residents. It’s not just about maintaining buildings — it’s about creating homes people love.

This personal touch hasn’t gone unnoticed. Jodie was named Property Manager of the Year in 2020, and her company won the Pandemic Response Award. She’s also been recognised as one of the 42 Under 42 to watch by South West Business Insider.

But it’s not all business. She’s constantly raising awareness for causes close to her heart, including The Hollie Gazzard Trust, endometriosis, and sepsis. She’s been personally affected by these conditions.

From Bristol to London, Jodie and her growing team are changing the face of block management. They’re proving that with the right approach, property management can be about more than just bricks and mortar — it can be about creating communities where people truly feel at home.

Aaron Lee believes chemicals don’t have to be boring — they are central to our lives and he’s leading the way around ethical distribution

From Competitive Swimming to Chemical Trading

Aaron Lee moved from competitive swimming to founding his own thriving chemical distribution company. Quite a journey.

Excelling in both academics and swimming from a young age, he went on to complete Chemistry Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees after deciding that being an athlete athlete in the world of swimming wasn’t what he really wanted to do.

Yet his unique blend of scientific knowledge and athletic discipline has proved invaluable in his career.

At Lansdown Chemicals, Aaron quickly rose to sales director. When company changes led to him leaving, he used the opportunity to start Alchem Trading in April 2023.

Aaron’s mission is refreshingly simple: make chemical procurement easy and as sustainable and transparent as possible. He understands the complexities of chemical supply chains and aims to simplify the process for clients. From sourcing chemicals to ensuring quality and timely delivery, Aaron offers a comprehensive service with transparent pricing.

What impresses me most is how quickly Aaron found his niche. Within a year, he secured significant contracts in chemical distribution. His networking skills and ability to spot opportunities in niche markets have meant his business has taken off quickly.

Outside work, Aaron enjoys family life with his wife, Leila, and their three children, showcasing his dedication to both personal and professional spheres.

As a speaker, Aaron can discuss topics from entrepreneurship to global chemical supply chains. His personal journey and expertise make for captivating talks.

Aaron’s story proves that, with the right blend of knowledge, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit, it’s possible to turn industry challenges into business opportunities. He’s bridging the gap between chemical manufacturers and users, ensuring businesses get the chemicals they need without fuss.

Aaron Lee is definitely one to watch in the world of chemical distribution!
